Sarah de Nordwall

Sarah de Nordwall describes herself a Bard with a Bard School and has been performing her poems and stories as well as enthusing and training others from England to Canada, the USA, Romania, Switzerland and Ireland for over 25 years.

Sarah began her studies at London University and Central School of Speech and Drama. She has spoken in the House of Lords, the House of Commons, the Strand Theatre (for over 400 BBC Managers) and has been the after dinner speaker for the Bishops and priests of the Diocese of Cardiff and most recently for a Catholic Pilgrimage of Pulitzer prize winning American journalists at Westminster Abbey.

She appears regularly on the BBC and other international stations debating and representing hot button topics and has recently taken her own spoken word show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival – the largest arts festival in the world.

Sarah is experienced at teaching children from those deemed Gifted and Talented to those in Support Units, helping them to access their creative gifts in order to find their own unique voice and confidence. She is also qualified in Adult Education and has designed and run courses for writing and performance in a range of settings – from challenging housing estates to elite business environments within the Civil Service in London.

Sarah has trained High School students in London to write and give speeches to the Head of the Commonwealth. Helping them connect with values that animated them was key to motivating them to overcome their fears and learn the skills and confidence to speak inspiringly.
