Nick Nyman – :
Extremely reliable teacher: Helen is very punctual in responding to emails, starting and finishing classes, and grading homework. I don’t think there’s been a single time when class has started late, or I haven’t received homework grading and feedback.
Interactive classes: Each week in our Wednesday class, Helen goes through a topic that will be covered on the exam, and then we get a lot of opportunity to try and work through questions on the screen with any help needed. We do lots of these examples with her, as well as quizzes, online maths games, and review websites.
FREE sessions: Every week, Helen offers an additional 20 minutes before the Wednesday class to answer questions and 45 minutes on Thursday, where she works through more examples of what we were doing in class, answers any questions, and helps us where we are struggling. All with no extra cost.

Joseph enjoys the way the class is taught, especially the quizzes. Helen always makes sure everyone has understood and gives encouraging feedback. An excellent class, well organised and caters well for different abilities.
David Richards – :
The best part of this course is when you understand the work. She is the best teacher ever really good at explaining the work BIG HELP.
Luca Heath – :
I like algebra and learning about geometry, so it’s also taught in a good way. She teaches in a good way and explains things clearly.
Elisheba Hamiliton – :
She’s nice and is a good teacher, and she leaves positive comments on my homework.
Evelyn Nyman – :
Mrs H is a great teacher, she’s punctual, and if you get something wrong, she tells you, and helps you figure it out. My classmates are all great, chatty and fun, and we’ve all gotten to know each other through the class. Math isn’t my favourite subject, but I actually enjoy the class, and go to the extra (free!) lesson the next day, which is so helpful.
Mrs K – :
How would you describe the teacher and their approach? Enthusiastic, encouraging, supportive, great for GCSE prep
Poppy-Mae Busby – :
The IGCSE Maths course with Dumb Ox learning is an awesome course. Helen is great at teaching and explaining, and the classes are fun, interactive, and confidence-building. This course definitely fills in any gaps in your knowledge with maths, and I would highly recommend signing up because I’m sure you’ll definitely love it!

Thank you so much for all your work with a very reluctant maths student these last two years. She found todays and last weeks exams cheerfully “ok”. She has come a long way, so thank you.
Mrs H – :
I am in tears of thankfulness, E got a 7 in maths.
Thank you so much for your classes and all the encouragement and teaching which meant she began to enjoy maths and work so hard.
She is currently on a boat on the Norfolk Broads, so I’m not sure if she knows what she has got yet, but I am having another cup of tea to celebrate.
