Course Overview
Does God exist? Is the Bible reliable? Has Christianity been a force for good in the world? In every age, Christians are called to answer the Scriptural command to “[a]lways be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you” (1 Peter 3:15). Our increasingly secular age is no different.
This three-hour online workshop will introduce students to both the practical and theoretical aspects of articulating and defending the Christian worldview. Led by an experienced instructor with extensive debating experience and a passion for apologetics, the workshop will explore key topics within what C.S. Lewis called “mere Christianity,” including the existence of God, the problem of evil, the reliability of the Bible, the historicity of the Resurrection, and Christianity versus other religions.
The workshop will include teaching, discussion, Q&A and practical exercises, giving students the opportunity to think through challenging questions and practise articulating and defending their faith.
