Course Description
The Art of Debate is a dynamic course that develops students’ skills in critical thinking, persuasive speaking, argumentation and respectful discussion. Through engaging debates and practical exercises, students learn to analyse ideas, build strong arguments, communicate clearly and confidently, and thoughtfully engage with different perspectives.
Designed for students who enjoy discussion and thinking on their feet, each one-hour session builds confidence in public speaking through lively, structured debates.
Students will learn how to argue persuasively, respond under pressure, and communicate ideas clearly—essential skills for academic success and beyond.
Energetic sessions full of discussion, teamwork, and practical skill-building in a supportive Christian environment.
13 weeks (includes a 1 week break)
